Under My Spell
Spellbound were an obscure group from Ohio. This track is the b-side to the band's first single released on their own private label Great Records in 1983. Spellbound went on to record a sought after and (as evidenced above) killer looking full length LP on Heat Records in 1985. This is the perfect poolside slow jam for the summer that just won't seem to get hot enough (at least in LA) to kick off proper.

You rarely see those JALN band albums and singles outside of the UK, France and Germany, being as they were a UK based act. I remember picking up a '77 album called Another Lonely Night or Another Lonely Saturday Night or something by them over there years ago. you would probably have more chance finding that 7" in Spain than we would in California.

Cheers Mate,
Street Dance cover of the Fatback original only came out on a 7' (Magnet),I have it here, but since our move to Spain have no way of Riping vinyl to Flac, mp3 etc.
It really is a wothy cover.
