A plea to the people

Unfortunately, I have some bad news. BT Magnum is in Europe bringing sweet boogie flavor to dance parties all over and just got all of his records jacked while on a train to Amsterdam. If you are over in that neck of the woods and you see someone pedaling raw, sick ass heat, please bring it to the attention to the authorities! These records took years, lots of cheddar, and countless hours avoiding work; help him out if you can!

Here is a loft jam in mourning.

props for keeping it real, but honestly this is why I play serato. I rip everything to the mac pro on a raid1 mirror which is backed up to an external hdd, dvds stored offsite and also backed up to cloud storage.

the vinyl? safe and sound, on the shelf, each in a plastic sleeve, sorted by genre > label > artist.

ive lost a music collection before, and it wont happen again.

Good advice, but I think it's a sign that it's time for me to move on. Vintage synths and drum machines are striking my fancy a bit more these days anyways.

Appreciate all the sympathies. RIP Manujothi 7".

That's horrible man. They'll get their just rewards; you can't earn the vinyl without the urge to dig, and someone with call them on it.

In an unrelated comment, that's a super sweet mixer you have in the picture. Do you happen to know what kind of mixer that is?

I can almost feel your pain. Hang in there, BT.

Thankfully you've got a lot of it 'backed up' on this site, so at least the sounds are not lost to you for eternity.

As for the filthy thief, as Le Bron tweeted and then didn't - karma's a b1tch. I hope they get their just deserts.

Kidd, the pic is of a Lecson preamp and amplifier (the cylinder thing). It reminds me of the early Meridian gear in its aesthetics. Don't know how it sounds though. http://groups.google.com/group/lecson-audio/web/the-lecson-story?pli=1

Aha! Boothroyd and Stewart, founders of Meridian started at Lecson!

Some nice tracks here..but alot of lamo tracks as well (extremely low recordings??)

If your going to record them that rediculously low..keep em to yourself!
