ReplyDeleteDoes "Afro Boogie" mean that this music was made in Africa ? Probably not. Anyway, this will not replace "Dont go lose it baby" from my list of top hits from this kind of music. But whatever happened to Rex Rabanje?
ReplyDelete"Afro Boogie" generally means that the record was recorded and pressed in Africa. Although some of the Jake Sollo productions and others were actually recorded in England and then pressed up in Nigeria. William Onyeabor reoorded and pressed(!) all his records himself in his home town Enugu in South East Nigeria.
