ReplyDeletevery nice. I wanted to say that Dam Funk was in my town last week and the warm up DJ sounded like he was streaming my "beat electric boogie" mp3 folder. I realize that a lot of what you guys post are staples and classics, but it was just a little bit too coincidental to believe it was in fact coincidence. On one had it is pretty lame that he was DJing from a Blog on his laptop...but I couldn't argue with the quality of the tunes, very exquisite tastes.

ReplyDeleteI think Anonymous made a decent point without being too negative. They felt it was a little bit wack that the DJ seemed to be spinning a playlist straight off of our blog.
That said, it's all cool by us. That's why we put the music out there in the first place. At this point we have blogged so many boogie era tracks its probably hard for any set in this vein not to have more than a few BE jams laced up in it.
